Zuck’s New Neighbours
Indian Creek, a 294-acre barrier island with 41 homes and a population of just 84 people, has long been a magnet for billionaires and the elite. Among the most notable homeowners there is Jeff Bezos, who has been snapping up homes on the “Billionaire Bunker” as part of his Miami move, including a reported third purchase on the island for $90 million in 2024. Former NFL star Tom Brady purchased a $17 million lot on Indian Creek in December 2020, which boasts an 856-square-foot dock with lifts for his jet-skis and boat.
Legendary financier Carl Icahn also owns three homes on the island, each worth at least $50 million. President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, purchased an Indian Creek home in December 2020, with an estimated property value of $40 million. Among Zuck’s new billionaire neighbors are also Colombian banker Jaime Gilinski Bacal, art collector Norman Braman and Eddie Lampert, former CEO of Sears.
