Do you want to know just how opulent the never-seen-before-in-the-media interior of the 344-foot-long sailing superyacht Black Pearl really is? Well, you should ask my brother. He’ll be the first to admit that he does not follow superyachts the way I do. And, frankly, he’d never really heard of the Black Pearl except when speaking about Johnny Depp and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

But…as I just found out, he now knows ALL about the iconic 3-masted sailing superyacht Black Pearl that’s longer than a football field since he just happened to come across the 30-minute video about Black Pearl that’s getting lots of You Tube attention. And it should get lots of attention because this video does something that most, umm… virtually all…superyacht owners never, ever, allow–a well-produced 30-minute video showing the interior of one of the most iconic (and until recently, secretive) sailing superyachts ever built.

Of course, I’m glad to say watched the whole thing soon as it went live. In fact, I was one of the lucky few who had an in person tour aboard Black Pearl was in Cannes last September. But the cool thing is that now that video has been published, the public—and my brother!—have a chance to experience what I’m grateful to see all the time. Just how awe inspiring insider access onboard one of the largest and most recognizable sailing superyachts in the world really is. Of course, I try to describe how the art, design, craftmanship and build quality of every large yacht is unlike anything else. But, I must admit, these images and especially this video do a pretty good job explaining that too.

But, for those of you that don’t know. Or better still, if you happen to be interested in chartering Black Pearl (for roughly $1 million plus expenses/per week in the Caribbean until the end of April, and then the Med for this summer), it’s important to point out she was built by Oceanco and is the result of a visionary collaboration between Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard, and Gerard P. Villate. You’ll be able to invite 12 guests that will be pampered by a crew of 27. And thanks to her three 232-foot-tall DynaRig carbon masts that can deploy 32,292 square feet of sail with a push of a button, you could be sailing in under seven minutes! And oh yeah, those ship models, and the piano, and all the art and details in the interior are one-of-a-kind too.

This is only the begining. Stay tuned for more eye popping superyacht tours to come!
