Eilish announced that her third album – ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ – will drop on May 17. The North American tour for the album will kick off in September, and Eilish will head to Australia early in 2025.

The last time Eilish took the stage in Australia was in September 2022 when she did 12 shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. On this tour, Eilish will perform 12 shows between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne but will not return to Western Australia. The LA-based performing artist heads to Stockholm in April to begin the European leg of the tour.

Eilish won two Grammys and an Oscar earlier this year for the single ‘What Was I Made For’ which was released on the Barbie soundtrack. The song has racked up 132 million views on Vevo since it was released.

Eilish has 120 million Instagram followers and 49 million subscribers to her Youtube channel. She is featured on the April cover of Billboard magazine and discusses the new album and her dedication to her fans.

“The fact that I have a far bigger audience and platform than I’ve ever had in my life means I can reach that many more people, and that’s such a huge responsibility and privilege to have,” Eilish tells Billboard.

Eilish — whose full name is Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell according to Billboard — was just 13 when her song ‘Ocean Eyes’ went viral on Soundcloud. Four years later, Eilish and her brother/producer Finneas released her debut album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ The ‘Bad Guy’ single from that album raced to number 1 on the Billboard chart and made Eilish a household name.

The beats in the chorus of ‘Bad Guy’ have a distinctly Australian sound to them. Eilish and Finneas revealed in 2020 that the song features the sound that a crosswalk makes when you are permitted to walk you to the other side. Eillish loved the sound and recorded it on her iPhone, and her Finneas sped it up to fit the tempo of the ‘Bad Guy’ chorus.

Live Nation and Frontier Touring are bringing the tour to Australia. Frontier states that no further dates will be announced.

American Express cardholders can access a ticket presale on Wednesday May 1. Frontier and Vodafone members can buy tickets on Thursday May 2. The public release of tickets is Friday 3 May at varying times for each city.
