When two titans of luxury decide to partner up, the result is always bound to raise some eyebrows– and the latest pairing from luggage maestro RIMOWA and the iconic jeweller that is Tiffany & Co. is one that could probably hold its own in an art exhibition.

The highlight of this ensemble, the RIMOWA x Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Case, is quite literally a piece of art, with its ‘Rock Cut’ design that mirrors a diamond’s. It’s the first vanity case ever created by RIMOWA. The subtle artistry extends to the emblematic ‘T’ motif and the iconic Tiffany Blue hue.

It is one of three stunning new pieces in the ultra limited edition collaboration, including the RIMOWA x Tiffany & Co. Rock Cut Cabin and the In the new RIMOWA x Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Personal, which is fully embraced by the classic Tiffany Blue with a redesigned purpose, which boasts six compartments to safely store valued jewelry while travelling

Since LVMH’s acquisition of RIMOWA in 2017, we’ve seen a string of notable partnerships from the luggage icon, be it with sporting icons like LeBron James or Lewis Hamilton, fashion giants like Dior and Fendi or contemporary trailblazers like Off-White and Supreme. Yet, this partnership with Tiffany & Co. feels distinct—perhaps because of the mutual history and respect each brand carries.

“We are proud to join forces with Tiffany & Co., another legendary brand with the finest craftsmanship. The creation of such purposeful and one-of-kind pieces represents the centuries of expertise behind both brands and the mastery of engineering that we bring to the table,” says Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert, Chief Executive Officer at RIMOWA.

Alexandre Arnault’s transition from the helm at RIMOWA to an executive role at Tiffany & Co. undoubtedly played a catalytic role, who had nothing but praise for the collaboration.

“We are thrilled to debut the RIMOWA x Tiffany collection, bringing together two Maisons with unmatched craftsmanship and innovative designs,” Arnault, Executive Vice President of Product and Communication, Tiffany & Co. added. “This one-of-a-kind collaboration unifies two icons in one, both of which are incredibly personal to me and represent the highest caliber of craftsmanship.”

Beginning September 26th, 2023, the RIMOWA x Tiffany & Co. collection, which includes the Rock Cut Cabin priced at $5025 AUD, the Jewelry Case at $6775 AUD, and the Jewelry Personal at $3120 AUD, will launch at select RIMOWA locations globally and on RIMOWA.com. Additionally, the collection can be found at Tiffany & Co.’s Landmark store in New York City and on Tiffany.com for customers in Greater China, accessible through WeChat.
