Patek Philippe proved at Watches and Wonders 2026 that there is much more to the brand than the Nautilus.

Patek Philippe
Patek Philippe thrilled collectors with four 150th-anniversary limited editions of its most famous model, the Nautilus, at Watches and Wonders 2026, but it also proved once again that there is much more to Patek Philippe than the Nautilus. The brand also introduced a new version of its iconic World Time watch with a bright carmine red dial, along with a minute repeater set with bright, rare Paraiba tourmalines and a first-ever complicated Cubitus. Patek Philippe presented 20 new watches in all.

There were a couple of firsts for the brand among the novelties. The Ref. 6105G Celestial is the first Patek Philippe grand complication wristwatch to display the times of sunrise and sunset for Geneva, along with a sky chart representing the night sky as it appears from the brand’s home-base city.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5840P 001 Cubitus perpetual calendar.
Patek Philippe
The Cubitus perpetual calendar reference 5840P-001 is the first high complication in that collection, which was first launched in 2024. The debut Cubitus was 45 mm, but was presented last year in a more manageable 40mm size. Now it’s back to whopper size – at 45mm – and the case is platinum, so it’s a wristful. In keeping with a strong trend in luxury watches right now, the Cubitus Perpetual Calendar is skeletonized, revealing the plate and bridges of the new caliber 28-28 Q SQU, an evolution of the caliber 240 Q but adapted to the square shape of the Cubitus.

Patek Philippe
The World Time is a signature complication for the brand, known for its enameled and guilloché inner dials. This year it was introduced for the first time in yellow gold, with a stunning carmine red dial that is lacquered and finished in a basket-weave guilloché pattern. The leather strap is also carmine red, and at 36mm wide x 8.83mm thick, the Ref. 7129J-001is a very wearable World Time version.

Patek Philippe, 5322G_001 Alarm watch.
Patek Philippe
Patek’s Pilot Alarm Travel Time, presented in 2019, was revisited this year with the same 24-hour alarm and date indication but without the travel time function; instead it gives center stage to the alarm function. While with most alarm watches a hammer strikes direct on the inside of the case back, producing a metallic humming sound, the caliber AL 30-660 S C in the Reference 5322G chimes like a minute repeater. Its hammer strikes a classic acoustic gong surrounding the movement. The programmed alarm time appears in a double aperture at the noon position, with the hours on the left and the minutes on the right, indicated in quarter-hour increments. The alarm can be set 24 hours in advance. The white gold case side is guilloched with a Clous de Paris or hobnail pattern, and the dial is textured lacquer.

Patek Philippe
Over the past five or six years, Patek has been steadily revising one of its iconic shaped watches from the 1960s: the Golden Ellipse. This year, it’s given an olive green sunburst dial in both a jumbo size (34.50 x 39.50 mm), Ref. 5738G-001, and a medium size (31.1 x 35.6 mm), Ref. 3738G/100G-014. The baton-type applied hour markers and cheveux-type hands match the white gold case.

Patek Philippe, 5374/400P minute repeater/ perpetual calendar.
Patek Philippe
A big surprise from Patek Philippe this year is the Ref. 5374/400P-001 perpetual calendar/minute repeater. It’s far from unusual for Patek to introduce a minute repeater, but this one is set with 48 Paraiba tourmaline baguettes (2.53 cts), along with 72 baguette diamonds (5.64 cts) around the bezel, and another 86 baguette diamonds (3.5cts) on the case. This piece is a rare departure for Patek Philippe, whose aesthetic rarely veers from the unadorned, except in its annual Rare Handcrafts collection. Even the stitching on the strap matches the Paraibas. It’s limited to eight pieces.
