The list celebrates the brightest young innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs making waves in business and society.

Eligibility Criteria

This prestigious list honours individuals under 30 who have made exceptional contributions to, and demonstrated remarkable potential in, their respective fields.

  • Age: Nominees must have been 29 years or younger on December 31, 2024.
  • Impact: Nominees must have demonstrated significant impact in their industry through innovation, leadership, or entrepreneurial success.
  • Potential: Nominees must show strong potential for future success and influence within their field.
  • Achievements: Nominees must have a proven track record of accomplishments such as funding, revenue generation, social impact, or creative breakthroughs.

To develop our shortlist, Forbes Australia’s writers and editors comb through online nominations, as well as tap industry sources and list alumni for recommendations. Candidates are evaluated by Forbes staff and a panel of independent, expert judges on a variety of factors, including funding, revenue, social impact, scale, inventiveness and potential.
