Frenchman Geoffroy Henry moved to Australia in 2013 and, seven years later, he launched a start-up to mobilise the nation’s truckies and optimise logistics at a time when all focus was on supply chains. Today, his business Ofload has raised more than $80 million in capital – but Henry says his biggest challenge is narrowing focus.

Geoffroy Henry logs on to a Zoom and surprises with a thick French accent, one he admits he probably shouldn’t have. He lived in Australia for six years, leaving in 2000 at 10-years-old, and loved it – so much that when he finished business school and a stint at a hedge fund in France, he was ready to return. In 2013, at 23, he booked a one-way ticket to Sydney and never looked back.
