Bentley launches ‘once in a lifetime’ drive journeys

The luxury carmaker will offer exclusive experiences for those wanting to try out a Bentley for the first time, or for existing fans.

The new travel series, called ‘Extraordinary Journeys’ is launching this month, with tours across the UK, New Mexico and Scandinavia to begin with, before rolling out more locations later this year.

Each journey ranges from three to five days, and involves scenic driving with overnight stays in luxury accommodation. For example, the Scandinavia Journey will span five days, four nights, beginning with an overnight stay at Ett Hem in Stockholm (around AU$900 a night). Then, guests will get to experience a 5-star luxury wilderness escape in the Swedish forests before zooming off to Copenhagen.

The journey through the UK sees guests gain private entry to the Bentley factory in Crewe before setting off on a drive into the Peak District National Park. Day three involves some wellness activities at the 5-star Middleton Lodge before driving up to Scotland to cosy up at the 5-star Treehouses at Lanrick in the Scottish Highlands.

“We have worked closely with globally like-minded partners that share our passion for excellence whether it be in the field of cuisine, design, architecture, or wellness–all with sustainability at heart.,” Bentley’s global head of brand experience, Caren Jochner, says.

“This, coupled with our carefully curated driving experiences provides something truly unique–an Extraordinary Journey and once in a lifetime experience that offers the opportunity to connect you with like-minded souls–an experience money alone can’t buy.”

Bentley’s website also suggests there will be another Journey arranged in Oman, though you’ll have to register your interest to find out when that becomes available.

For now, each journey will run across a range of different dates and countries from 2023, and is open to anyone and everyone – though there is limited availability. Prices vary depending on the destination. For example, the New Mexico trip which lasts four days and three nights is priced at US$19,950 per person, based on two people sharing. The Scandinavia tour is £19,950 per person, based on two people sharing.
