Key Facts

Swift and Kelce did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen as Adam Sandler officiated the wedding while Swift’s brother, Austin, was her “man of honor,” and Kelce’s brother, Jason, served as his best man.

Multiple streets near MSG were closed to vehicle traffic, while portions of W 33rd. Street and Seventh Avenue closest to the arena were closed to pedestrians, some of whom waited nearby for a glimpse of the newlyweds or their guests.

Photos taken outside MSG showed guests such as actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, musician Benson Boone, former soccer player Abby Wambach, NFL player Cooper Kupp and sports broadcaster Joe Buck.

AMC CEO Adam Aron posted, then deleted, details of the wedding on X, seemingly revealing the event featured the look of a “lush countryside retreat” and had artificial trees that “welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs,” noting that despite reports of around 1,000 attendees, the wedding “felt intimate and small.”

Aron said Kelce was dressed in a white tuxedo while Swift wore a “stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train.”

Surprising Fact

Prince William appeared on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast before the wedding. A prerecorded episode was published hours before the event in which the two discussed family, NFL football and the World Cup.

Tangent

Swift’s wedding dress and Kelce’s suit were designed by Dior’s creative director Jonathan Anderson, though no photos of the dress have been publicly released.

Big Number

At least $20 million. That is how much the wedding cost Swift and Kelce, Forbes estimates. Meanwhile, police presence and traffic enforcement associated with the wedding may have cost up to $10 million, former New York City Traffic Commissioner Sam Schwartz told Forbes, noting the bill might fall on New York City taxpayers but could be picked up by Kelce and Swift.

Who Else Attended The Wedding?

While several celebrities associated with Swift and Kelce were not spotted heading to Friday’s wedding, many were seen heading to its rehearsal or traveling to New York City ahead of the wedding. People spotted en route to the rehearsal dinner included Selena Gomez; Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson; sports reporters Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews; former Kansas City Chief Ross Travis; Sarah Blackburn King, who is married to Kelce’s friend Reggie King, Swift’s famous publicist Tree Paine and country music star Kimberly Schlapman. Others seen in the city were Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff and his sister Rachel, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, current and former NFL players George Kittle, Greg Olsen, Micah Parsons, Andrew Whitworth and Matthew Stafford. Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Aaron Dessner, Suki Waterhouse, Graham Norton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello were also seen in the city.

Key Background

Swift and Kelce were speculated to have already been married at the time of the wedding. The event’s price tag is high, but not out of range for the couple. Swift’s estimated net worth is $2 billion—a figure consisting of nearly $800 million from touring and royalties. Kelce was No. 8 on Forbes’ list of the highest-paid NFL players in 2025, the only other non-quarterback alongside Parsons to make the list with an estimated $47.3 million before taxes and agent fees. Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023 after Kelce said he “threw the ball in her court” with an invite to a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift would go on to attend multiple games and Kelce later attended concerts of Swift’s. Their engagement was announced in August 2025.
