Capella Sydney, Sydney

Officially opening on the 15th of March, 2023, the Capella Sydney is a new, luxury hotel in Sydney’s Sandstone Precinct. Boasting 192 guestrooms and suites, each with standalone tubs, custom Italian Frette linen and exclusive Haeckels amenities, the Capella is sure to stun your loved one.

Superior rooms start from $530 per night, or you can go all-out with the 235-square-metre Capella Suite on the ninth floor, which starts from $6,430 per night.

The Langham, Gold Coast, Queensland

A beach escape – but make it luxe. The Langham, Gold Coast is the first new beachfront luxury hotel to arrive in Australia’s holiday capital in more than 30 years. The hotel offers uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean or the Hinterland – and of course, its famous Day Spa by Chuan.

Prices start from $469 per night for regular rooms (or you can splurge on the ocean penthouse for $3,034 per night).

Halcyon House, Cabarita Beach, NSW

Located in Cabarita Beach on the Tweed Coast of norther NSW, Halcyon House is a unique luxury getaway for beach lovers. Each guest room and suite has been individually designed, featuring antique furniture, fabric upholstered walls, luxe king-size beds and a private balcony or terrace. And, you can dine at Halcyon’s hatted restaurant, headed up by executive chef Jason Barratt.

Prices start from $1,090 per night.

Jackalope, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria

Situated on a private vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula wine region, Jackalope is a luxury hotel that offers some of the best food, wine and leisure activities. With 45 rooms and two restaurants (the hatted Doot Doot Doot and the casual, cellar door restaurant Rare Hare) the old Edwardian homestead could make the perfect luxury gift for your loved one.

Prices start from $699 per night. Or, book the hotel’s Guilty Pleasure Package that includes a dinner for two at Doot Doot Doot, martinis and oysters on arrival, a DIY in-room Pinot Body Scrub, custom Jackalope sleepwear for two. The package is available Sunday to Thursday until 30 June 2023, and starts from $1,000 per stay.

Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Mexico

Another one you’ll have to lay down an I-O-U for, Maroma, a Belmond Hotel, will be opening on the 25th of May, 2023. Nestled between 200 acres of lush, tropical jungle and the secluded white sands of Mexico’s Caribbean coast, this one’ll be worth the wait.

There are plenty of different suites to choose from to suit your budget. Garden view suites start from USD$1,195 per night, Ocean View suits from US$1,795 pert night and Oceanfront Suites from US$2,695 per night. Want an Oceantfront Suite with a Private Pool? That’ll cost you upwards of US$4,095.

Langton’s Burgundy Experience, Burgundy

Australian wine distributor and auction house, Langton’s, is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for wine lovers. For one week, guests can travel to a chateau in Burgundy and gain private access to world-class cellar doors, with guided excursions by Langton’s Head of International Wine. Renowned chef, Guillaume Brahimi, will prepare dinners at the chateau, and guests will also head to a degustation at the Michelin-starred Abbaye de la Bussière.

Price is $26,000 per person. Expressions of interest are now open, but you’ll have to get in quick. Guests will need to register by February 15th by contacting events@langtons.com.au.

Silversea World Cruise

If you and your loved one are looking for a potential trip of a lifetime, Silversea (the ultra-luxury cruise liner) has already got its 2025 World Cruise dates out. Beginning on the 13th of January 2025 in Tokyo, the Silver Dawn will take you on a journey to New York. You’ll get there on the 29th of May, so the trip is a total of 137 days – with plenty of stop-offs along the way.

Silversea states prices start from $120,000 per guest, door-to-door. That covers everything from private airport transfers, economy flights, business class upgrades or air credit, shore excursions and an all-inclusive on-board lifestyle.
