Tudor is the newest sponsor of Formula 1 racing by joining forces with the newest team on the circuit, the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team (V-CARB).

Officials of the Swiss watch brand were in attendance Thursday when the V-CARB Formula One Team unveiled its new F1 car in Las Vegas. The Tudor shield logo is displayed on the nose of the car in front of the driver and the inside of the halo safety device.

In addition, the drivers for the new team, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo, were wearing the new uniform at the reveal, with the Tudor shield on the chest. Each were wearing a Tudor watch as well.

For Tudor being part of the world’s largest and most popular racing program marks a return to motorsports. The brand supported winning teams starting with the Tudor Watch Racing Team in the late 1960s to the recent IMSA TUDO United SportsCar Championship.

V-CARB has undergone a radical shake up since taking over the AlphaTauri team name. In addition to redesigning the livery and race suits, the new lead sponsors have made changes throughout the organization, from management to engineering.

Red Bull’s Italian Formula 1 team has competed in more than 350 races since it was founded. The team was launched as Scuderia Toro Rosso and charged with bringing future champions to the grid. It rebranded in 2020 as Scuderia AlphaTauri, with a victory at the Italian Grand Prix in its first season.

The team under the V-CARB and Tudor sponsorship, will have an expanded mission to battle for the top spots in Formula 1 racing.
